The Mini 3D comes with an automatic charger.
The light in the bass reflex tube shows how long you will be able to party before you have to recharge with 3 colors. There is also a voltmeter in between the new optional USB charge ports for a more accurate reading on the battery status.

BASS ENHANCEMENT MODE - Psychoacoustic bass harmonic generation and EQ-based bass enhancement for richer, more impactful bass response.
Bass enhancement can be turned on or off on all of these EQ settings, so 2 x 7 = 14 EQ settings in total (with memory, after restarting it remembers your last selected setting).

Recharge your smartphone, tablet and even laptops or other USB devices on the go with your Mini's powerful battery pack. The 2, USB type-C charge ports are powered by Power Delivery PD 3.0 technology and provide up to 90 Watts of total power.
In between the USB charge ports there is a red LED display voltmeter/battery gauge and power meter indicating the current battery voltage between 20.0 and 29.4 volts. You can consider the last 2 digits as the battery charge percentage for example: 28.3V = 83% charge left.
The power meter shows how much power the USB-C ports are delivering.

Are Thodio speakers waterproof?
The A-BOX can handle rain and splashes and the iBox Mini and iBox XC can handle that too after being treated with linseed oil for 3 times, it takes about 10 minutes to oil an iBox, more details in the owners guide. We shipped 1000's of units since 2005 and we never had any issue/damage caused by water.
Which type of bamboo sounds best?
We are proud of the fact that we craft our speakers out of the best sounding material available. The high density bamboo gives you a cleaner sound than the side pressed bamboo we offer, simply because of the mass added to the material by the compression process, which makes it a bit heavier and more inert. It also takes smoother finish. However, the side pressed bamboo box still sounds better than anything else available on the market, nobody uses 3/4" (18mm) thick, solid materials to produce their portable speakers.
Are Thodio products only compatible with Apple products?
Can I travel with the A-BOX?
Yes you can, we took it on a plane many times all over the world. We do recommend however to pack it in a bag and remove the explosives sticker (new stickers can be ordered from us, the latest model comes with a caution sticker to make it more travel friendly)
Is the 3.5mm AUX input included when I choose one or more of the other options?
All Thodio products come with the standard 3.5mm AUX input connector including a 24inch or 60cm high quality gold plated 3.5mm to 3.5mm minijack cable.
Can I charge the A-BOX or iBox Mini/XC in my car?
With a simple inverter of less than 100 watts you can plug in your charger and charge your Thodio in the car.
Can I leave the charger connected to the speaker?
All Thodio products are provided with an automatic battery charger which detects when the battery is full and stops charging, because of this it can be used as a permanent power supply to power your Thodio. The batteries do like to have their electrons moving now and then so it is recommended to use your Thodio disconnected from the charger for at least once a month.
What do I get when I don't select any options?
You get a spectacular piece of Thodio craftsmanship, the speaker system, with the standard battery pack and a minijack AUX input with a cable to connect your audio source and the automatic battery charger which doubles as a permanent power supply. Bluetooth, WiFi, Guitar input, USB charge ports and the longer lasting battery packs are optional.
